Bad Habits: An Unhealthy Ways We Start Our Day

How you start your day especially in the morning will have an impact whether directly or indirectly on how your day is going to turn out.  Today, there are unhealthy ways in which we start our day which probably may seem harmless but could drain your energy level and also it could increase the stress level.



Here are some unhealthy ways we go about starting your day with:

1. Skipping Breakfast.

According to a new study,  skipping breakfast increases your chance of heart attack or stroke. And also the timing of our meals is actually as important as what we eat. This is because embarking on periods of fasting between meals means you are more tempted to snack on Junk foods high in fat and sugar.

2. Worrying.

Some of us if not all have one way or the other are a victim of this scenario. By doing so, you fail to realize that worrying has a negative effects on your body which could either be physical or mental effects, which may result to high anxiety, stressing up unnecessarily, and also could have a negative impact on your brain, in such a way that you start having restless mind which directly or indirectly leads to insomnia, also worry can also decrease your libido.

3. Drinking Soda.

Drinking soda in the morning has become a regular substitute for those who often skip breakfast. According to studies, drinking soda has a negative impact on your body.  When you drink soda, you risk gaining weight and also you're exposed to the risk of heart attack. It changes your body metabolism. Even though people are still of the opinion that diet soda is good,  but from recent studies and researches, it has been proven that diet soda is actually bad for your health.

4. Eating fast food.

A steady diet of double cheeseburgers or pizza and fries washed down with an oversize soda often leads to health issues, such as heart disease, diabetes e.t.c. Trans fat, that can be found in fast food, help raises cholesterol level and blood fats that contribute to hardening of arteries as well as firing up inflammation, which contributes to the build-up of fatty plague Inc artery walls.


5. Starting your day with a smoke.


We all know the effect of smoking but smoking in the morning is really bad. How bad is really bad?  Smokers who light up first thing in the morning are more likely to develop lung cancer and tumour of the head and neck than those who waited an hour longer.
